YOUNG PUNISHER - Original Character Sketch + Paintovers

YOUNG PUNISHER

This is a sketch i named 'Young Punisher'. I wanted to develop it into a Patrick Brown style piece, here are a few stages, although it needs more work!

Original Sketch

Basic Tones and Shadows

Colour

To make the image more effective i need to touch up small elements like the piercings and blood splats.....

Final version on its way!

ADIDAVATAR

ADIDAVATAR

Just a little sketch based on a -_-* picture of myself

STRIP II - Paint Overs

STRIP II

Here i have used the sketch with low opacity as a basis, and tried to add some dramatic lighting.

(Apologies for poor quality image)

Ver. 1

I don't feel as if Ver. 1 portrays the final outcome i was trying to achieve,
it's dull and needs energy. The Basic Lighting and toning is done, the colour which i can later edit with hue and saturation, i think needs a tweak.

Ver. 2

I Produced this from editing ver.1 (Above)
For this version:
- Darkened the back ground which helped draw the eye instantly to STRIP and made him more intriguing.

- Changed colour scheme

- Re-ajusted the shadow

- Added strange orby light thing i'm now calling 'Soul' and light effect

-Added ENR-G ( Bracelet things )

Ver.3

STRIP II - Original Character Sketches

STRIP II

STRIP is a character i came up with whilst trying to design a cool super hero. He's pretty lame, he is thought to look like dead pool due to the experimental coloration used in the first trial painting (next post!).

His suit is initially meant to be white with black strips, hence the name STRIP and the logo looking similar to II.

These sketches are shown in order of creation.

Basically...

So basically, this is a blog set up purely for character development, from Sketches To Complete Designs, I will do a few tests and trials and produce a few different versions of each.

Enjoy and all feed back is appreciated!

I sincerely wish the documentation of progression will suffice
